Wildcat girls claim wins

MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s volleyball teams won at home Thursday.
The A-team defeated Oswego 25-9, 25-20. Hannah Endicott served up 20 points and Kaitlin Ensminger had 15 service points. Emily Meiwes had three service points and Cheyenne English had two points.
The Wildcat B-team rallied for a 21-25, 25-13, 15-4 win over Oswego. MaKenzie Harrison served for 17 points. English had six points served while Emily Boyd and Jocelyn Miller each had five points. Shauna Knight served up four, Kaysha Elmenhorst had three and Tessa Olson served two.
“Our girls had outstanding matches. We stayed focused and played with a goal in mind,” said Jamie Stodgell, MVJH head coach. “We were solid in all phases of the game.”
