Vintage racer reunion

Humboldt Speedway honored race drivers from its past during a reunion of the vintage racers Friday at the Speedway. The track was built in 1968 and present owners Ron and Rhenda Whitworth (far left front row) wanted to recognize those involved in the sport at Humboldt’s race track. Those attending but not in order were Larry Ballou, Raymond Barnett, Billy Bud, Harlan Cleaver, Jerry Cline, Ira Collins, Dick Davis, Jerald Folk, Joe Folk, Leo Folk, Armond Gray, Bill Green, Bob Gaulding, Craig Hatch, Bill and Thelma Hillbrant, Dave Holman, Paul Holman, Ron Honn, Al Jesseph, Dave Kustanborter, Vella Lower, Buddy and Bertie Meadows, Bruce Michael, Ron Murko, Ron Simmons, Ted Spencer, Pat and Ray Vanderford, Corky VanGotten, Gary VanGotten, Robert Wille, Mike Weilert, Richard Weilert, Leroy Weese, Don Blackburn, Sam Privitt and Johnny Womack.
