Red Devils win

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Playing in CommunityAmerica Ballpark, home of the Kansas City T-Bones minor league baseball team, Allen County Community College Red Devils pulled out two one-run decisions over host Kansas City, Kan., Community College Tuesday.
Jake Hosey threw a complete game for the Red Devils in a 3-2 win over the Blue Devils. Hosey gave up five hits, walked one and hit a batter. He struck out six.
Allen County went on top 2-1 on a two-run double by Wyatt Hall in the fourth. Kansas City tied the game up in the sixth.
With two gone in the seventh, Dillon Hazlett parked a 1-2 pitch over the left field fence for the go-ahead run for ACCC. Hosey retired KCKCC in order in the bottom of the inning.
Hazlett had two singles in the game. Marcus Peavler had two singles and a double. Seth Dutton doubled. Bretton Ater, William Reddick and Stefaan Jefferson each had a single.
Allen County used five pitchers in the second game. The Red Devils won 6-5 with the win going to John Michael Moore. Benjamin Pearson got the save.
Down 4-1, the Red Devils scored twice in the fifth and three times in the sixth. Kyle Linnebur led off the sixth with a solo home run.
Dutton hit two singles and a double and Hall had a single and a double. Reddick and Josh Ward each had two singles. Peavler tripled. Hazlett and Jefferson each singled.
The Red Devils are 7-1 in their last eight games and 20-10 overall.
