Allen County Community College’s Red Devils and host Independence Community College Pirates were right in the middle of the Jayhawk East. To get wins on the road would be big for the Red Devils.
They got one. The second game of the doubleheader never got under way because of rain. It will be made up at a later date.

Allen County is 14-9 overall and 6-5 in Jayhawk East play. Next up for the Red Devils is a home non-conference twin bill against Friends University’s junior varsity Monday.
