Marmaton Valley Jr. High volleyball teams net wins

MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s volleyball team played at home and won Thursday.
In A-team play, Marmaton Valley defeated West Elk 25-16, 26-24. Kaysha Elmenhorst and Tapanga Turner each served up seven points for the Wildcats.
Also in the match, Kaitlin Ensminger served for six points, Cheyenne English and Hannah Endicott had four service points each and Emily Meiwes served three points.
Marmaton Valley’s B-team notched a 25-19, 25-22 win over West Elk. MaKenzie Harrison served for 10 points and Emily Boyd had nine service points.
Shauna Knight served up five points and Jocelyn Miller had four points. Elmenhorst and Tessa Olson each served for three points.
“The girls hunt in there to get their wins,” said Jamie Stodgell, MVJH volleyball coach. “They had good games.”
