MVJH Wildcats win big

MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s Wildcats rolled to a 44-6 win at home over Oswego Thursday.
The Wildcats were up 24-0 after on quarter. The scoring began when Garrett Booth blocked a punt for a touchdown. Nick Trollope had touchdown runs of one yard and five yards and Michael Swift had a 25-yard run to the end zone.
In the second quarter, Trollope, who had 15 yards on three carries, scored from nine yards out. Booth caught a nine-yard touchdown pass from Swift. Shaun Frye returned an intereception 30 yards for the final Cat score.
Oswego scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Swift had 33 yards on four carries and was 2 for 2 for 25 yards passing. Micheal Genn had one catch for 16 yards.
Sage Hall had six tackles for the Cats. Trollope and Trent Johnson each had five tackles.
