Jeremy Wilson captures factory stock victory

HUMBOLDT — Jeremy Wilson made the most of starting in the outside pole position Friday in Humboldt Speedway’s factory stock feature race.
He drove past his brother Derrek Wilson to the front at the drop of the green flag. Jeremy Wilson led the entire race but did fend off Paul Snyder throughout the race.
Snyder finished second with Derrek Wilson running third. Doug Scism finished fourth and Chris Weldon was fifth.
Payden Phillips rolled to another win in the B-Mod feature race. Jay Lamons Jr. finished second with Levi McGowen crossing the line in third. Rick Aiello and Tim VanGotten rounded out the top five finishers.
In the modified feature race, Jesse Folk Jr. was out in front but John Allen made up ground and finally passed Folk for the win.
Folk was second followed by Ryan Whitworth in third place. Gary Langworthy took fourth and Jessy Willard was fifth.
Drivers have two more race nights to rack up points — this Friday and Sept. 11.
This Friday will be highlighted by the mechanic races. On Sept. 11, it will be powder puff race night.
Humboldt Speedway will hold the Biblesta Blowout weekend, Oct. 2-3. There will be racing each night at the Speedway.
