Iola, Humboldt seniors to play in all-star game

PITTSBURG — Iola High seniors Trent Jacobs, Chad Rourk and Jenna Sigg and Humboldt High senior Kelci Owens are among 41 senior boys and girls in southeast Kansas invited to play in the 2009 U.S. Army SEK All-Star games Sunday.
The girls’ game tips off at 1 p.m. followed by the boys’ game at St. Mary’s-Colgan High Fieldhouse in Pittsburg. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Along with the all-star games, there are three-point shooting contests for both boys and girls plus a slam dunk contest during halftime of the boys’ game.
Two teams are formed from each roster. Here are the full rosters for the games:
