Area man to compete for horseshoe title

Neil Hartwig of Humboldt is one of 31 Kansas competitors taking part in the World Horseshoe Championships July 27-Aug. 8 in Sprinfield, Ill.
More than 1,330 players from 45 states are competing for a total fo $170,000 in prize money, trophies and scholarships.
The two-week tournamnet will crown world champions in eight divisions, men and women, boys and girls.
