Ramona Driskel

Ramona Ann Driskel, 36, Iola, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at a residence south of Gas.
She was born April 15, 1973, in Wellington, the daughter of Virgil Dean and Marilyn (Dietrich) Page. She lived her early years in Conway Springs. The family moved to Colony and then to a farm north of LaHarpe. She attended school in Colony and then lola. She served several years in the Kansas National Guard. She married David Driskel and they made their home north of LaHarpe. They were later divorced and she moved to lola.
She is survived by a son, Tayton Driskel, and two daughters, Kelsey Adams and Emery Driskel, all of the home; her mother, Marilyn Page, LaHarpe; and two sisters, Arlene Gilliland and her husband Les, Colony, and Debby Pauly and her husband Charlie, Conway Springs.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Dean Page Jr., and her father.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Jim Rausch officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Memorial Chapels in Iola.
Memorials are suggested to the Ramona Driskel Memorial Fund. They may be left with the funeral home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
