McAdam services

Funeral services for Nadine McAdam of Moran, whose death Thursday was published in Thursday’s Register, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Moran. Interment will follow in Moran Cemetery.
She will lie in state after 10 a.m. Sunday. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Moran.
She was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Parsons, a twin daughter of Roy and Rosie (Benson) Adams. She grew up in Parsons and attended Parsons grade and high schools.
On Feb. 17, 1956, she married Billy McAdam in Miami, Okla. They made their home in Moran. She was a homemaker. She also owned an interest in Super 8 Motel in Iola. She was always interested in the happenings in the Moran community and USD 256. She was a past member of Moran American Legion Auxiliary. She liked to watch old movies.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, and son, John, both of Moran; a nephew, Bobby Davis, Cherryvale; a niece, Jamie Thornton, Parsons; numerous other nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Karolyn Holloway, Bella Vista, Ark., and Beverly Franklin and her husband, Jack, Iola; and a brother-in-law, Tom McAdam and his wife, Bonnie, Moran.
Her twin sister, Jerry Hampe, a sister, Velma Daniels, brother, Ed Shaw, and a daughter-in-law, Sue McAdam, died earlier.
