Leo Weber

Leo A. Weber, 85, of Bronson died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at Moran Manor.
He was born July 28, 1924, in rural Yates Center, the son of John C. and Mary (Bruggeman) Weber. He grew up in the Piqua area until the family moved to a farm east of Humboldt. He farmed with his father for 26 years.
On March 1, 1966, He married Bernadine E. Speer in Girard. They made their home on a farm southeast of LaHarpe for 41 years. Besides farming, He also worked at Klein Tool in Moran for 17 years. They moved to Bronson two years ago.
He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Iola and St. John’s Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Eugene Leo and his wife, Debra, Bronson; a daughter, Sharon Harclerode and her husband, James, Bronson; five grandchildren, Sheila Weber and Mark, Matthew, Elizabeth and John Harclerode; four sisters, Pauline Riebel, Humboldt, Eleanor Riebel and her husband, Ed, and Margaret Karr, Iola, and Margie Riebel and her husband, Earl, LaHarpe.
Two sisters, Helena Weber and Theresa Riebel, died earlier.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapels in Iola.
Parish Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Iola. The Rev. Robert B. Wachter will be celebrant. Burial will be in Moran Cemetery.
