Joe Dressler

Joe Dressler, 59, of Topeka died at his home of leukemia on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009.
He was born Oct. 21, 1949, in Iola, the son of Paul and Velva Dressler.
He enjoyed playing football in high school and college. He graduated from Humboldt High School in 1967 and attended Coffeyville Community College from 1968 to 1969 and Pittsburg State University from 1970 to 1971.
He worked at Y-CAT as a cottage parent and then drove a truck for Holton Truck Line until starting Mo Jo’s Lawn Care where he worked until he became disabled and retired in 2004.
On Dec. 19, 1973, he married Diane Clines.
She survives as does a brother, Don (Lou), Gravios Mills, Mo., and a sister, Donna Good, Wintersprings, Fla.
Memorial services were held Saturday at the Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka.
