Glen Venhaus

Glen A. Venhaus, 59, of Topeka died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at his home.
He was born May 9, 1950, in Chanute, the son of Lawrence and Oleta Venhaus. He graduated from Chanute High School in 1968.
He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and was a retail pharmacist in the Topeka area for more than 40 years.
In the early 1970s he married Rita Turley in Chanute. They later divorced. On June 9, 2004, he married Andrea Nelson in Topeka.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Nick and his wife, Shawna, Topeka; two stepsons, Richard and his wife, Jennifer Nelson, and Eric and his wife, Jean Nelson; two grandchildren; his mother, Oleta Venhaus, Humboldt; a brother, Don Venhaus and his wife Neva, Wichita; and two sisters, Jean Flores and her husband Chris, and Linda O’Connor, Humboldt.
His father died in 1986.
Memorial services were Tuesday in Topeka.
