Collison services

Memorial services for Dale Leroy Collison of Humboldt, whose death Monday was reported in Tuesday’s Register, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church in Humboldt.
Cremation has taken place.
He was born Dec. 4, 1916, in Humboldt, the son of Benjamin Harrison and Hattie Myrtle (Ostrander) Collison. He graduated from Chanute Junior College.
On June 24, 1939, he married Mary Virginia Dice in Humboldt. She died March 8, 2008.
He worked as a chemist at Monarch Cement Plant for 38 until his retirement. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Humboldt and was a past master Mason.
He is survived by a son, Dale Leon, Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter, Kale Herder, Neodesha; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A sister, Ardeth Willenburg, died earlier.
