Bonnie Hutton

Bonnie L. Hutton, 65, of Gas, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at her home.
She was born Jan. 25, 1944, in Gas, the daughter of George W. and Dannie J. (Gregg) Wilson, Sr.
She married Harley Hutton on Aug. 26, 1959. They made their home in Iola before moving to Gas.
She worked for Haldex for 33 years before ill health forced her retirement. She helped with church youth groups and sang with her sisters for the elderly in nursing homes.
Her husband survives, as do four sons, Irvin and his wife, Brenda, and Gregg and his wife, Roxanne, Iola, Tony and his wife, Pam, Gas, and Chris and his wife, Tracy, Salina; three brothers, Clifford Wilson, Fort Scott, Gary Wilson, Benton, and Jim Wilson, Wichita; four sisters, Shirley Marr, Blanchard, Okla., Verbe Newsom and Martha Conley, Colony, and Darlene Burton, Gas; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, “Buck” Wilson, George Wilson Jr., Bob Wilson and Gregg Wilson, and a sister, Clodene Parker.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Iola. Burial will be at Gas City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from
4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapels in Iola.
Memorials may be made to Allen County Healthcare Foundation “Home Health” or Hospice and left at the funeral home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
