Aubrey Rowe and Corliss West Rowe

Aubrey Rowe, 80, and his wife, Corliss West Rowe, 75, died Thursday, July 9, 2009. They were married in El Paso, Texas, on Aug. 11, 1972.
He was born on June 10, 1929, in Ryan, Texas, to George and Mamie Bee Rowe. Brothers Wilburn, Haydren, Arlie, George and Coy Lee died earlier.
He is survived by a brother, Charles and his wife, Jane, Montrose, Colo., and a sister, Margie Madron and her husband, Walter, Hobbs, N.M.
She was born on March 30, 1934, in Bronson, to Gail D. “Buck” West and his wife, Mary, of El Paso, Texas. Her sister, Connie West of Albuquerque, N.M., died earlier.
She is survived by a sister, Helen Feikert and her husband, Tom, Paola; a brother, Dennis West and his wife, E.J., Caballo, N.M.; a son, Brad Poore and his wife, Jennifer, Las Cruces, N.M.; daughters, Carmen Ward and her husband, Ron, Albuquerque, Deborah Poore and her husband, Mark, Denver, Christy Knight and her husband, Derek, Gray, Ga.; granddaughters, Kerri Ann Poss and her husband, Monty, San Antonio, Texas, and Stacey Giuliani and her husband, Joel, Parker, Colo.; two great-grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was a retired electrical lineman with the Army. He enjoyed working in his garage on numerous projects. She had been retired since 1995 from the Cotton Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in El Paso. Corliss liked country and gospel music.
He was a Korean War veteran and he will be interred in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N M. Funeral services for Corliss Rowe will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Moran. She will be interred at the Bronson Cemetery.
